"Get Amazon Products for FREE (or Close to Free)" by Alan Lee
This book is very short but explains the process of writing reviews in exchange for reduced prices or free products. It was a quick read and who doesn't like being able to get things at a lesser cost. It is my understanding that Amazon no longer allows free or reduced products in exchange for reviews. However, the book also includes many sites and Facebook pages where you can sign up for free and potentially receive offers. I can tell you that if this works, I will be adding a products page to this blog for reviews.
I have just signed up with several of the sites listed in the book and after browsing the sites, this could be so much fun. I'm looking forward to giving it a try. I also signed up for some of the Facebook pages to do a comparison. One avenue may be better than another and as time goes on I will be updating what works and doesn't. Some of the websites and Facebook pages are no longer active. This could be because Amazon has changed their requirements for reviews. This isn't a bad thing, just different. I can say of all the sites I signed up with, so far, only a few have gotten back to me. However, even with these few, it's possible to get free or low-cost products to review and keep. If you would like to take a look at this really cool idea, here's the link.
As always,
Happy Reading
"70 Painless Ways to Make Money for $5 or Less" by Marc Pierce
If you are looking for a short description of these ways than this book nails it. I found myself just skimming through the book to find things that might interest me, but maybe that's exactly what the author intended. Personally, I would have liked more detail on the topics discussed. I do however like that he included links to some different sites. I did check out some of these such as jobs.problogger.net and bloggingpro.com/jobs. If you want a job blogging these are great sites.
